Our school is a place where students not only study, but also develop their talents, participate in various activities, and spend time with friends in a friendly and inspiring environment. The school has two main buildings: the old building and the new one.
The old building has 3 floors and holds many memories for students. It has a large gym, where my classmates and I often play basketball together. We spend many breaks and free periods there, practicing shots, playing friendly matches, and enjoying the sport we love. Basketball has become a way for us to relax, compete, and bond as a team. There is also a big assembly hall, where school events, performances, and special lessons like the “Hour of the Future” or national education lessons are often held. The classrooms in the old building are cozy and familiar, and many students have been studying there for several years, which creates a friendly and warm atmosphere.
This year, our school opened a new building, which has 5 floors and is very modern and beautiful. The corridors are spacious, with bright walls, inspiring quotes, and pictures of famous poets. The classrooms are fully equipped with new desks, chairs, boards, and teaching tools, making learning more convenient and interesting. The new building is designed so that each floor can accommodate different types of classes. For example, the 4th and 5th floors mostly have special classrooms dedicated to specific subjects, like physics, biology, and chemistry, each with all the necessary equipment and instruments for experiments.
At the school entrance, there are gates. If you turn left, you go to the old building, and if you go straight, you reach the new building. Between the two buildings, there is a road often used for school events, competitions, and outdoor activities. This area connects the old and new parts of the school and creates a sense of unity between students from different grades.
Most of the senior classes moved to the new building this year, which has given the school a fresh and modern look. Despite the new facilities, the school continues to value tradition, respect, and a sense of community. Students not only attend lessons but also take part in clubs, competitions, sports, and cultural events, making school life dynamic and exciting. For me and my friends, the gym and basketball games are one of the most memorable parts of school life. Playing together helps us build friendships, practice teamwork, and have fun after lessons, making every day more enjoyable.
Our school is not just a place to learn—it is a place where friendships are formed, talents are discovered, and every day brings new experiences. It combines the history and memories of the old building with the modernity and comfort of the new building, creating an inspiring environment for students to grow academically, socially, and personally.
